This application represents an attempt to deliver compelling content to mobile phone users that is both engaging and participatory.

By providing a bridge between mainstream global news media and the emerging world of "micro-publishing" by the general public, iWitness Mobile facilitates compelling interaction between the individual and the broader global community.

At its core, iWitness Mobile fulfills a basic human need to connect with others and creates a forum where unfolding global events provide an inexhaustible supply of topics to engage the broadest of communities and minds.

tenbyten.org, an interactive exploration of the words and pictures that define the time. All news photos and headlines presented within iWitness Mobile are drawn from tenbyten.org which gathers its data from Reuters World News, BBC World Edition and the New York Times International News.

flickr.com, almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing community in the world. Each "Fresh Perspective" is drawn from the  flickr photo community. The iWitness Community Photo Collection is also made available online at flickr.com.

blogger.com, the blog hosting company that describes a blog as "whatever you want it to be". Which sums things up nicely I think. The iWitness Mobile Community Journal is made available on blogger.com.
